Georgia Business owner, Dawn Dallaire, Has been selected for the 2008 Georgia Small Business Person of the Year.


Dawn's soap manufacturing business is located in Griffin. Her hand crafted bath products can be found in over 3000 stores across the U.S.(Linens 'N Things, Bath & Body Works, Ross, Homegoods,etc.) Dawn has appeared several times on QVC and will be back again in April. She recently appeared on CNBC's the "Big Idea" with Donny Deutsch. Dawn started the business 5 years ago in her kitchen and now occupies a 10,000sq.ft. facility. Clearly Fun Soap now employees up to 35 talented soap-crafters. Dawn gives back to the community by mentoring other upcoming entrepreneurs. She has recently finished her book "Woman-Owned Business" which chronicles the trials and triumphs of being a business owner. It will be published this spring.
